May 2023NSIA Banque Bénin extends its reach to combat malaria, distributing 1000 bed nets in the marshy town of Sèmè-Podji.
A delegation from NSIA Banque Bénin visited the Sèmè-Podji Health Center to distribute 1000 insecticide-treated bed nets. Malaria remains one of the deadliest diseases in Benin, and the bank’s leadership aimed to contribute to the fight against this scourge by supporting the government’s ongoing efforts.
It’s crucial to note that Sèmè-Podji is a marshy town on the outskirts of Cotonou, where the population is particularly vulnerable to mosquitoes. On this occasion, a symbolic presentation of bed nets took place in the presence of the District Adviser and the Center’s Manager, focusing on breastfeeding women.
NSIA Banque Bénin takes pride in aligning with the malaria eradication cause and will continue to support initiatives aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of the population.
